Humvee gets a new suspension from Defense Tech. You might call it the New Humvee on steroids with a new engine and transmission too.

  • Finally, after adding 4000 pounds of armor on a 6000 pound vehicle, you decide to upgrade the suspension. Brilliant!

  • the humvee is not adequate protection from the ied threats that are the top killer of troops these days,, put our boys in real armor, the cost to support a few crippled returning vet far out weighs the cost difference between this crap and the proven Cougar 4 x 4 and 6 x 6 models

  • that won't climb rocks. climbs houses!!!

  • @Mitch062 youre gay bro

  • Is it a totaly new hummee or a kit for upgrade older?

    Does it move? :)

  • damn that thing must roll so hard

  • @OCTANE1320 Look at the center of the underbody when compared to the centerline of the rims, IFS and IRS gives more ground clearance in the center of the truck. Sure in factory trucks/SUVs straight axle parts are more durable, but the parts on a military Hummer aren't going to be like those, will be a lot better.

  • Why would they put independent suspension on vehicles that are going off road?

  • humvee what a piece of shit.drove one up in darwin several years ago whilst on excercise with american soldiers.they also loved the australian unimog.our 110's were more nimble and quicker over all the obstacles unlike the humvee which got hung up so many times that we finally left them behind at base and continued with just our aust vehicles.so if you visit the northern territory leave ya humvees's at home

  • what about the buffalo
