Stop comparing a human's life to that an octopus. Besides, it didn't die. Octopus in captivity are known for escaping their tanks and searching for prey on the land. This was not out for a very long time at all.

i hope you know that octopus is basically suffocating as it walks along, they can only last so long out in the air, certain species much less than others, and this is probably a deep sea species so its probably not able to last long at all!! so really you should put it back in and watch it in its natural environment- The water..
