@Taspearl It has to do with what's currently "in" with composers. In the 80's, electronic keyboards were huge because of Chariots of Fire and Dune and Blade Runner. But now world music's in because of Hans Zimmer's score to Gladiator and it's especially big in the world of sci-fi because of Richard Gibb and Bear McCreary's work on Battlestar Galactica.
