  • @01FASTTRACK @01FASTTRACK My friend and I battled all night at the track with bone stock 07 GT and WS6 and who ever launched better won the race so no, you don't know... And no I do not drive a Mustang, A 150 shot with bolt ons puts 05-09 Gts into the mid 11's if not lower.. And unless he had some HEATED drag radials the spray would have caused the GT to lose traction

    However, counting with your watch? Come on, man. That's not documentation. Don't get me wrong I love the S-197 GT's. But without appropriate instrumentation, you're guessing at best.

    Borrow an accelerometer. (Autometer sells 'em) You'll see, auto or not you're not going to get mid four second 0-60 out of 320hp. Unless the car weighs a lot less than the GT S-197. The physics don't work, dude.

    I have a 98 trans am with a stock ls1 motor with the stock intake heads and cam... longtube headers, custom tune, a built trans and high stall converter with the stock 2.73 gear in the back. full tubular suspension. This car pulls high 1.8s to mid 1.9 60 ft times. the car is about 3700 pounds with me in it i can pull 4.5 0-60 mph everytime on nitto tires. It has exactly 320 rwhp

  • 2 valve POS, I have had both and unless you are going to get a roush or a cobra. don't even bother. LS1's are cheaper with the same amount of power, and they don't need superchargers

  • @01FASTTRACK If he was spraying it he would pull a lot harder.... with your theory a 450 hp mustang (assuming he was bone stock besides the nitrous and i seriously doubt that) would get half a car length on a heavier 350 hp trans am...? Oh ok that makes perfect sense. And I guess they make nitrous switches and timing for the nitrous "hit" because you can't notice it, when the nitrous hits you lose traction completely unless those tires are super sticky and that is a fact.

  • @01FASTTRACK Here is a later model mustang (50 less HP) with a 100 shot (another 50 less HP) running away from a Ws6... So a car with 100 more HP is going to do a hell of a lot more.
