Sounds Fun Phonics Flash Card Movements

This movie demonstrates how Heidi uses the Sounds Fun Phonics flash cards to drill her students on the 25 primary sound spelling patterns and 3 basic phonics rules, in the HeidiSongs Sounds Fun Phonics program.

The flash cards are designed to help children learn to visually recognize all 25 letter combinations and their sounds, each with a corresponding character and hand-motion. When the children are drilled with the flash cards and are asked to respond physically and verbally, they tend to remember much more quickly than without the kinesthetic element.
