Nice work. Excellent tutorial.

Would a Mod Podge work for this?

Loved your acrylic transfer videos & learned to apply 2or3 coats of the soft gloss medium to the backside of transfers to keep them translucent looking. And your tips on how to color the transfers later was invaluable. Thank you for your infomative videos.

Having never worked with Mod Podge, I have no idea. Might be worth experimenting with and see what happens.

It is used to bond the image to the surface but be assured it is a gloss acrylic medium.

Just wondering about the stability of the printer ink, ie fading. Do you use archival inks or is regular printer ink OK? I am interested in using this technique in my art but do not want the work to fade over time. Thx!

I use a laser printer or copy machine, not an ink jet. These are a powdered pigment and have much longer life than inkjet printers.
I also will use a UVLS varnish to finish off work to help the images last as long as possible.

gloss liquid medium would be the basic gloss medium made under oh so many brand names. It is the everyday gloss medium. Soft gel is thicker and gel is one of the thicker mediums. So to get the right consistency for me, I blend the soft gel and gloss medium together. Experiment to find what works for you.
