ZOOM R24 is a fantastik machine. It has an Rythme Box and a lot of pattarns already programmed. It can also play Sample drums from a USB (included). In this video I show how to use the 3 ways of adding drums to a track.

How to Create a Drum track ?

1. Add patterns to tracks
2. Use the Sequencer to play the patterns
3. Bounce the Sequencer to a Stereo track.

  • can you do this on the r16 ?

  • thanks man that was really helpful :)

  • Very helpfull thanx.

do you know how i can get the metronome to play a 12/8 bar?

or set up a new project in 12/8?

  • Thank you for this helpful video. I just bought a R24 and I've read the manual, but I still can't figure out how to create complete songs using multiple rhythm patterns (like I would do with a regular drum machine). Assuming that you are using rhythm patterns from the R24 itself, must you always first assign rhythm patterns to individual tracks before sequencing? Seems needlessly complicated and if you use 8-10 different rhythm patterns, that's a lot of tracks to use up.

  • Thank you sir.....
