    The Cavs went to the Conference Finals that year. Not to mention the MVP is a Regular Season award, so playoffs matter none. Miami gained the 5 spot in the east, and they probably would have been down with the Wizards without Wade.

    LeBron and the Cavs had a great season, but Wade got shafted, plain and simple. If anything they should have had Co-MVP's. Not to mention how Wade got shafted for the Defensive First Team. 3rd in Defensive player of the year voting and only 2nd Defensive Team.

    its not just who played the best its whose team needed them the most hence most "valuable" player. the cavs went to the finals that year and they probably wouldn't have made the playoffs without lebron
