my dad had a 1975 grand marquis station wagon with the 400 cid. He got his up to 160 km/hr. So I am sure with that engine you could go faster with the 4bbl carb.

Yep, it's a 1970's car...it has about 3 miles of vacuum lines under the hood, LOL! Seriously though thanks for sharing with us. I love these big nice riding cars and sure do miss the safety and comfort of them today.

I love these marquis! I had a 4 door Grand Marquis with a 460 engine but it rusted out. What a beautiful car!

Fastest I've ever done was 140/KM on the highway, the car doesn't seem to handle as well over about 120/KM.
