The Coupled Swings exhibit demonstrates how energy can be transferred from one object to another. The two swings are constructed with cables joining them.

One visitor pushes himself/herself or is given a push and after a few back-and-forth movements the first swing will stop and the second swing will start swinging.

This attractive swing enables visitors to experience the energy transfer between themselves. The sensation is unique & joyful. It also encourages fun social interactions among visitors.
