All the Margaret O'Briens, Hayley Mills, Tatum O'Neals, Gary Colemans, Macaulay Culkins, and Dakota Fannings (no matter how good) will NEVER come close to equaling her. There will never be another Shirley Temple. Just like FDR said "as long as we have Shirley Temple, we'll be alright".

Amazingly, Shirley has never changed. Same face, same voice, same personality, same spirit, same beauty and style. Everything she has done she has done well. She was very lucky to have sane parents who both recognized her talent and let her soar with it but also worked mightily to keep her life as normal as possible. She was very loyal to her family always. People forget her acting career beyond childhood, which was notable, too. What a champion!
