1 Bryant Park Construction Site Timelapse - May thru September 2004

Over the course of several months in 2004 the block of buildings at the intersection of 42nd street and 6th avenue in Manhattan was demolished to make way for the Bank of America New York headquarters. Stationed on the 6th floor of an adjacent office building I set up a webcam in time-lapse mode, taking 1 frame every minute and running these at 30 frames per second. This clip is the finished product of the footage I was able to capture, edited and with a soundtrack provided by my friends at Furious Styles. The song is 'Devil Trip' and the lyrics are quite appropriate for this film.
