@Nostalgia1979 Yeah it was slang back then. Some people still say that even today!

proctor shouldve been a mess up in the baseball episdoe with lenny y

The East and West alternated home field advantage in alternating years for the LCS. In 1984 it was the West team's turn to have the home field advantage. Record didn't matter.
In 1998, MLB switched the format to give the team with the better record the home field advantage in the LCS, but kept the alternating years format for the World Series, until 2003 when they started using the All-Star game.

I wonder how home field advantage was determined back then. The Cubs had a better seasonal record than the Padres, but yet the Padres were given the extra home game during the series. I honestly think a Cubs-Tigers series would have been a better series.

The Cubs won two games in that series. It was a best of 5. They won the first two and then lost three straight in heartbreaking fashion.

"the Babe? Who she?" lol a childs innocents is funny.

You were right the 1st time.
He says "I can't afford the lessons"

I'm on a critical list that's slender-ella?
What does Henry say 9:30? It sounds like he's saying "I can't at faulty lessons". At first I thought he said "I can't afford the lessons".

im on a slinderical list on a cinderella lol
This was obviously written before the 84 playoffs ended as Henry says there is no way the Cubs could lose to the Padres that means they are going to the World Series but as we all know they did lose to the Padres

Was "Holy macanoly" (I can't spell it) an American slang from the 80s or just Punky's invention?

There was a radio contest and he only had to answer on question, what is the windiest city in America? Chicago is called the Windy City and the answer he gave was Chicago but the correct answer is a town that hardly anyone has heard of.

Ok, but why and how did Punky and Eddie know it?
