  • Whats the chord progression for that?

  • well the verse and intro and stuff- the main thing... the way i transcribed it was as Gmaj7 to Dmaj7add9. Chorus is a bunch of stuff with Gmaj7s and also adding some C#s in there... with the quick chord in the middle being an F#m7. And the bridge ("So much wasted in the afternoon") is Fmaj7 Bbmaj7 Ebmaj7 ... and then "how bout u" is a C# something... its either a major 7 or like a add6 or something i forget.

  • Man you beasted this! You are amazing. 3:03-3:08 best part, and i've never seen/heard anyone doing this in any other cover!!!

  • Really really good...but that wallpaper euughhhhh!

  • Bathroom acoustics = Natural reverb

  • @bbrizzy89 Correction:

the chorus is Gmaj7 F#m7 and then it slides down to a Bm7

But seriously you jam amazingly good on that mandolin!

  • great¡¡¡¡

  • @sp21u9rs The material in bathroom walls is made of hollow material rather than solid material so the vibrations echo

  • What I would do to have been at just one of the Mayer/Nickel Creek shows. Time Machine needed... HAHA!

  • Just like on more recent tours when John would have his openers, Colbie Caillat or Michael Spearhead, come out during his set and do some type of collaboration. Sometimes it would be one of John's songs or a song from the other artist.

  • This mix of the mandolin with a John Mayer song is really cool. I'm an enormous JM fan. I also grew up listening to amazing artists like Chris Thile with Nickel Creek. I met Chris the other day. He's such a nice guy. Believe it or not Nickel Creek opened several shows for part of JM's tour in the New England area sometime between 2001-2003. If only I could find either audio recording or video footage from those concerts. I think Mayer and Nickel Creek did a song or two together.

  • @sp21u9rs Confined space, sound bounces back off of the walls.

  • this is cool man !

    i like it
