Part 10
I love Paris of course! and she is absolutely fabulous and worth of a fashion award and not from Mister Blackwell.

My collection of Mister Blackwell is very important to me but also to Museums around the world because I hold the pieces that made him famous in the early years of his fashion designing. This is just a glimpse of what to expect in High End Couture!

Video made to showcase my collection of designer couture from all over the world.
QUOTE FROM A PRESS RELEASE!
"Francisco Medavogs collection started off as a small sampling of some European couture designs to help him study FASHION design. By looking at the French seams and other intricacies, he learned about couture construction through the true masters of design. This hobby quickly became a collection of more than 25,000 fashion items, primarily 20th century European designs, with a number of them extending back to the 1920s and 30s.

"At first, I didn't quite understand why so many people were interested in seeing these clothes," says Francisco. "For me, the clothes were simply great examples of what I was able to study while at the Fashion Institute. Now, I feel that my collection is the beginning of a wonderful museum collection."

"I'd love to open the first American Fashion Museum, devoted solely to fashion and couture, similar to Zandra Rhodes' museum in London."

  • Mr. Richard Blackwell passed away on Sunday, October 19th at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. He was a very well known Fashion Critic. RIP dear Mr. Blackwell. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Family. His real name was Richard Selzer and he was born in Bensonhurst, New York.

  • Thank you Madame Fendi! I will be showcasing stunning Mr Blackwell pieces this week. I actually have a balloon fushia satin strapless gown from the 60's absolutely stunning and worth a million!

  • Dearest Francisco, You will be the the next Mr. Blackwell. Wow! What an honour my sweet friend. With your knowledge and expertise on Fashion I think you will be the next Mr. Blackwell. Shall we call you Monsieur Medavog? Or Mr. Medavog? Madame Fendi

  • Dearest Francisco, There are 4 video responses and all of them are yours. Am I talking to my dear friend Francisco now? lol

  • Check the video response below this video, I think you might be talking to that person!

  • . . right on ! :-)

no one is ever truly perfect when it comes to dressing up. Even the international best dressed list hall of famers made booboos once or twice in their lifetime. Mr. Blackwell, like Louella Parsons on the other side of the spectrum WERE THERE, to put us all in check. . . we need people like these. . . hmm. . i wonder who will take Mr. B's throne ?

  • Greetings, For anyone that would like to join our Chic Fashion Designers Group please go to the link on my You Tube Channel. Francisco and I will be approving memberships. • It would be interesting to see what Fashion Designs were created by Mr. Richard Blackwell since he had such high standards in the world of Fashion. He was a perfectionist. RIP Mr. Blackwell.

  • well said! Please add my friends youtube above this message ChicFashionDesigners!

  • Yes thank you Monsier Medavog. You are stunning and priceless! I just posted a rather lengthy comment telling your You Tube fans the celebs that were criticized by Mr. Blackwell. I would love to see your Fendi and Zandra Rhodes when you have the time.

  • Yes I saw that outfit Bjork wore and I agree with you Manilaboy6631. I also loved the dress too Francisco. Everyone has their own personal sense of taste. Mr. Blackwell also criticized Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Bridgette Bardot, Madonna, Cher and many other celebrities. He compiled a list of The Worst Dressed once per year. Correct me if I'm wrong Francisco.
