i used to have a 1985 4L nissan patrol and drive it in the desert it was the best feeling ever since iv moved back to the UK i cant do it anymore this video brings back some great memories and makes me want to move back out to arabia thanks for the video

Thanks for all your comments!! Patrol is actually undergoing total renovation and got new engine - 4.200 ccm diesel, bigger tires and a lots of new features :) Clip from renovation works coming soon. And than... Maybe Nepal etc :D

hey guys... i need some help with my patrol gq.
my stock automatic hubs just broke and now i was wondering if it is possible to swap it with either a set of stock manual hubs or one of those avm manual hubs. is it possible to convert the hubs from auto to manual or do i need some other parts? and which one is a lot more durable? thanks guys.

To change the hubs to AVM manual U don't need anything else, just new hubs, it is bolt on. AVM are much more endurable, almost unbreakable. AVM produces also heavy duty version of their manual hub locks and there is nothing stronger than this...
