i don't think it sounds like somebody is dead. this is the most beautiful version i ever heard. the song is repeated several times. first time it's tranquil and peaceful, reminds me the green pastures and still waters He leads me to rest. every time the song is repeated, the rhythm of accompany changes, the tempo become faster.  when psalm 23 is read, there's modulation of key, a violin join in. it's full of strength and joy then. this song always helps me to worship and meditate.

Great lyric, but why have to sing the way like somebody is dead. Shouldn't we be more cheerful when we praise Him, because He lives, and because of Him, we live too. Make a joyful noise unto The Lord! Today is a beautiful day that The Lord has make. Let us rejoice, and be glad in it.
