It took place in Kniaze-Vladimirsky cathedral in Saint-Petersburg on the 17th of April 2009. I was baptized at the age of 44 years old with full immersion in strict conformance with ancient traditions of Catholic Church of Eastern Roman Empire, that were carefully retained in Byzantium and borrowed by Russian Orthodox Church and brought up to our times.

  • Ancient ORthodox did often have larger baptism font - in the entryway- this symbolized entering the kingdom when you then entered the church!

Christ is risen! Congratulations! See my baptism and there were about 15 Chrismations here in Mesa Arizona, USA!

    Seeitin my video list

  • @TheSpyridon1 Thank you, Indeed risen! :)

  • Ermm... you were baptised in a paddling pool? ooer.

  • @coldlittle Is it important? Please, note too, there were a lot of GOLD around.

  • I am Ukrainian Catholic. Do not the Orthodox also baptize and chrismate infants?

  • @mindspring57 If you noticed, in the beginning three persons were baptized including me and then already four persons passed chrismation in the middle of the reel.

  • @coldlittle the Lord Jesus, have mercy on you my brother.

  • Welcome brother ! May God bless you ! You´ve made a good choice !

  • Happy Catholism to you all!

  • Congratulations for becoming a part of Christ's Orthodox church.

  • @CareingKaren May be New Testament church does not need them, but Orthodox Church needs priests and you should understand why.

  • @coldlittle ho I didn't notice it.

  • @Corvusdortensis Baptize first the children, and if they can speak for themselves let them do so. Otherwise, let their parents or other relatives speak for them (The Apostolic Tradition 21:16 [A.D.215]). Saint Hippolytus

  • @Taguiltsev

Excuse me, but Yuri Gagarin was born in socialist times, he himself was a communist, but he was baptized.

  • Praises to this man! He did right! I believe in Orthodoxy and I'm going ot be baptized as an adult too, I think that it should be like that. If the baptism is supposed to be done to make us ressurrect in Christ and erase our sins, then why baptize sinless children? I've seen several Protestants point out that. I'm not Protestant nor believe in Protestantism, but I believe that they are right at this point.

  • This is so beautiful. How large is the inside of this church my brother.Did you feel the spirit of God here. And lastly, where can i find that beautiful music.
