Part 1/2:
1:40 - Luke is wearing another horizontal striped shirt! That's been a running joke since Van started. Van even joked about it although it was never quite explained why the wardrobe folks chose these shirts. My theory was that Van was relatively scrawny as compared to his male co-stars and the stripes made him look bigger
1:58 - Luke: "It's harder than I thought it would be" Hehe ... I love these Freudian double-entendres
2:12 - Luke: "hate the thought of her getting to see him every morning, and not me" If Ameera does indeed have a crush on Noah, then she is just as frustrated as Luke. Ask any woman who has had a crush on a gay man
2:40 - Luke: "You guys talking about me?" I laughed really hard at this because my girlfriend and her friends do this to me all the time. In the past, I used to hope that a surprise party was being planned. But after repeated disappointments, I now realize that they're just making fun of me behind my back. And often to my face. :(

2:52 - Luke: "It's getting weirder everyday" Ironically, "weirder" is a synonym for "queerer," but "queerer" also has a gay meaning. Getting queerer is a good thing for Luke
4:20 - Luke: "That's it" Luke has a cute crooked smile that I haqven't seen before. Again at 4:27. For latecomers: Noah arrived in Oakdale as an intern at TV styation WOAK. They decided to do a video project where Noah handled the technical stuff, Maddie did the acting and Luke did the writing. Luke's secret was that the words he wrote for Maddie were actually his own. It was th only way to express his crush on Noah, who no one realized was gay at the time. Actually, Noah's homophobic father knew but that's a whole other story...
4:40 - Noah: "the husband and wife usually share the chores" A recent 10 yr Univ of Michigan study shows that after marriage, the woman actually spends MORE time on housework while the man spends LESS. It's as if the man gained a housekeeper by marrying. Still, the gap is closing. In 1976, U.S. women did an average of 26 hours of housework a week, compared with 17 hours in 2005. Men did about six hours of housework a week in 1976, compared with about 13 hours in 2005. I know of no data for same-sex couples.

5:11 - Noah: "You just come in here without knocking?" Er, the house belongs to Luke's grandmather Lucinda. It's unclear whether Noah and Ameera are even paying rent so Noah should be a bit more appreciative. And why is the door unlocked??? The door was locked when the ICE guy came yesterday so wouldn't it make sense to lock it even more tightly now??? These writers are REALLY bad with details! They could have simply given Luke a key for things to make sense
5:35 - Luke: "oh thank you so much" Wow, Luke has good manners! And I must admit that Ameera would make a good wife -- if Noah was straight
5:50 - Luke: "if we were working on a project, we could hang out together" Why bother? The ICE has absolutely no reason to believe that Noah is gay (otherwise, they would have asked the university's gay club). So Noah and Luke simply hangiing out a few times is not suspiscious
5:59 - "make a movie" Ah, amateur gay porn? What a perfect excuse to have sex!
6:06 - I included this footage of Carly and Jack because it shows Lily and Holden on opposite sides. Lily wants them back together while Holden doesn't. Plus, CarJack is Nuke's biggest rival as viewers' favoite couple. At the end of the CBS poll, CarJack surged up, and came within 5 points of Nuke
8:32 - Luke: "call Casey and have him run a camera" What is poor Casey getting out of all this? Now that he knows that Ameera actually has a crush on Noah, there's nothing for him to gain. And a lot to lose since he just got out of jail and lying to the ICE is a crime.
8:41 - Ameera: "I can't wait" Er, Ameera is probably hoping for a love scene so that she'd have an excuse to kiss Noah (see next week's preview). I bet she wants a nude scene with Noah too. As does Luke so maybe both of them can be happy.

It's important to balance out the complaints CBS gets for such scenes. Here's a suggestion: Don't threaten to stop watching if Nuke is gone. Instead, say that it was Nuke that got you hooked. They want loyal viewers, not those who'd easily leave.
AND NEVER SAY THAT YOU WATCH ON YOUTUBE because those viewers don't count for Nielsen Ratings.

About the horizontal stripes, on the episode that he comes out to one of the girls(I think it was his cousin) before Noah was even on the show. She said she was glad about it cuz she gets the benefits of having a gay friend. She asks him about what he knows about fashion and he says " I don't know, I like stripes!" and then ever since he came out he's always been wearing stripes. For any of you who watch Hollyoaks it's alot like the thing with Craig always wearing cardigans.

You have a great memory. Yes, he was coming out to his cousin, Dr. Lucy Montgomery (played by Kelsey "Frasier" Grammer's daughter). Your recap had me laughing. I believe Luke and his crush, Kevin, appeared in swimsuits. Luke was still pubescent so poor Van had to wax his body for the scene.
There was a long period, after coupling with Noah, where he didn't wear stripes.

Oops, Part 2 was uploaded many days ago, but I forgot to make it public. It's been fixed. I don't make ATWT videos immediately available because my sources say that CBS is PISSED by:
1) East coast people who upload the videos even before the episode airs on the West Coast
2) People who upload before the episode makes it onto CBS's own site
These steal ratings and revenue away from CBS so lawsuits are possible
