Shadow Arts Minister Ed Vaizey MP promises to restore lottery funding to meet its original goals of supporting the Arts, Charities and other good causes. It means Chester will have a fund to tap into to reopen the theatre shut down by the previous Labour/Lib Dem administration.

I loved the gateway theatre, it was like my second home. Why they said they were going to knock it down and never did confuses me? I don't go there anymore but if it comes back then I'm positive that not only me but everyone that ever wen't there would soon return back to the memorys left behind in that beloved building
