@guitarandharp thank you for returning my comment-Peter Green and Duster Bennett is the best of blues-you are right about the original Blues Brothers-they had so much feeling expressed in the lyrics-God Bless and thank you for sharing with me...

Hi Almitra2
Stella is doing fine and she did a fantastic job of bringing up four wonderful children who became wonderful adults.
Best wishes

One of the very few songs that makes me feel ok about dying.

Yes i agree completely. peter admired Duster so very very much, hense Jumping at shadows that he covered. Also note Duster's sense of religion, just look the way Peter went towards the 70's. Those i the know will know what i am relating to.

I think it must have really hurt Peter when Duster died in 1976 30y/o he had so much to explore w/Peterr too. I wonder what happened to Stell? This pairing with the harmonica and guitar is the best for expressing The Blues-it's so beautiful

WOW
That's right Bleadbelly
This is the demo version which was recorded in Duster and Stella's flat in Richmond. Peter arrived and asked Duster if he could play in E minor. Here's the result.
It's known (as you know) as fifth position in harmonica player's techno talk.
Whatever - this is a fine blues which of course later appeared on the great Mr Wonderful album.
These guys are the REAL Blues Brothers!
