How does one determine an "enemy" of the church within the church? im a hard core catholic, i've read books of st. tomas aquinas, st. padre pio, st. faustina, theology of the body, theology...etc. please someone reply...and pray for me...GOd Bless. Pax tecum

@dialyt55 The church always encourages parishioners to talk to the priest directly regarding your concerns. I guess if the priest is braking Canon Law then you can do some private research and then bring the concern to the priest with reference to Canonical law.

@RealCatholicTV If all true Catholics did that, we would see many positive changes in The Church and and the Pope would be correct in ordering that an offending school, is not Catholic.

I don't know whether faithful catholics are numerous enough in America to accomplish what's being suggested, but God bless the pope for suggesting it.

The excision (somehow) of the church's enemies from within the church would seem to be the first step, and it's for that reason that I think what the pope is doing will really have an effect. I don't think too many enemies of the church will want to stick around when he's done.

What is the best way to deal with a priest who is abusing the Mass? I know I could go talk to him, but I think he would just wipe the floor with me and ignore me. An attitude among priests, many priests, is a clericalism that says 'what would a layman know?' And these are the priests who abuse the Mass. Any ideas?
