It does compare jaspam and liason but not really in a bad way, just comparisons.
& the only reason I didn't use the parapet scene with niz and compare it to liason's parapet scene is because I wanted it to be only in Jason's POV.

Liz was perfectly fine having a life with Jason. Jason is the one who walked away time and time again, and finally agreed to meet in secret. After Michael was shot, Liz didn't want Jason to walk away. She tried several times to be with him. Where was her fear then? Where was her fear of Jason's life when she cared for Jason after being shot, twice? When she was kidnapped? When she was shot? Liz has always been able to seperate the man from the job, and seen the good in Jason.
