Yesterday a 12 year old boy in HK hung himself in the bathroom after an argument with his mother as he failed to return a electronic game to his friend. This brings back memories of what I see as the importance of parental education in a emotive curriculum.

The kids today are the e-generation or digital natives and parents are searching for a balance which is hard to find without help and understanding.

This video was taken from a RTHK program call "Bluprint 2000". I was interviewed on a program I ran for parents to help them understand the coming of the internet age and how to help their children.

Now 7 years later similar issue exist and parents are more confused then ever as to how to help their children have a balance. The internet is pervasive and mobile devices for gaming is very popular here in HK.
