aaaawwwweee I am not usually sympatheic but i feel really bad for Wes Carter, god he lost his mum and dad. Whose to look after him now, Harry and Ruth would be good choices ???

@stepvan3 I believe they're filming series 9 now... PBS has aired the show through series 6. We're still waiting for the first episode of seven, if you want to wait a while before you shell out for the box set, assuming you can find it. I've only seen one so far and it disappeared quickly. :-) --I totally agree with you on the show: most shows can't survive cast overhauls, but this one really seems to be thriving.

I had to purchase the boxed sets of seasons 5 & 6 as they are not showing them here in the States. I have thoroughly enjoyed this show since it started showing here and am looking forward to watching the 7th season. Is this the last season of the show or are they still in production? The writers have proven that no matter who is in the cast, that their good writing continues to create an awesome series.

Series 8 is currently in progress and filming is due to end soon, if not already.
We can look forward to a really big surprise in series 8 and yet more twists and turns...I personally can't wait! this is sure to be the best series yet! :-)
