DR. SPENCER REID: They're Ph.D.s. --three of them.

DAVID WOODLAND: Are you a genius or something?

DR. SPENCER REID: I don't believe that intelligence can be accurately quantified--but I do have an IQ of 187 and an eidetic memory and can read 20,000 words per minute. Yes, I'm a genius.

AARON HOTCHNER: Sandy, you get a lot of attention, don't you?

DAVID WOODLAND: Yeah, Heather loves this dog. I feed her when Heather's away. Usually, she's fine, but ... lately, she won't eat. It's almost like she can sense something's wrong.

DR. SPENCER REID: Not sense. Smell. Our apocrine sweat gland releases secretions in response to emotional stress.

@shurtugal1 I have an Eidetic memory, and although I cannot read 20,000 wpm as the character Reed can, I have been recorded at 2,500 wpm by a Neurologist. I would attribute this to me being Autistic, and I wouldn't change it for the life of me.

@pedromoratalla Of course. Autistic children and cognitively delayed children are sometimes the smartest I've ever met. My cousin has autism yet he learned to play beethoven and mozart 2 months after he started taking piano lessons.

I believe there are different types of IQs. There is not just one type of test for them. Sometimes people have a hidden genius side to them that does not show up right away but is triggered by something that excites the mind. Everyone is different and unique in their own way.
