1. In this school we did not only learned great English, math...etc... we learned to speak up for our selfs, others and nature.

2. I grew here and went exchange program with a school in USA. Everything I learned here opened up a lot of doors.

3. I feel I can say this for all the students that spent time in this school ¨CFS is not just the shool we went to, it is Home¨

The Cloud Forest School is unique in the world! When I was a volunteer, I was amazed by how the students loved going to school - and how could they not? They are surrounded by beauty, their teachers made learning fun and interesting, and they were able to work outside. The campus has a wonderful energy, it was great to be a part of it. I know if I ever go back to Costa Rica I will make time to visit - and maybe even volunteer- again! Pura Vida CEC!!

Loved the the school, was a lifer, teaches importance of nature and the obligation we have to take care of her...teaches teamwork, leadership and to be grateful of everything we have, take care of others and accept all differences...

This school opens so many doors for deserving students. My time with students in the Cloud Forest also changed me - it's such a unique place and I really learned a lot about myself. Keep up the good work CEC!

I taught fifth and sixth grade English and Math at the Cloud Forest School for three years. I have never worked with such a supportive and energetic staff. I met people from all over the world who came together to provide high quality education. A majority of the students interviewed for this film were my former students, and each one of was sincere in their comments about the forest. When you go to the Cloud Forest School, it stays with you for life; visiting you in your dreams!

The Cloud Forest School is home for many of the Monteverde kids, and the people in it are like our family...those who give support to us....and more than simple classes of math, science, spanish.... Teach us about life and prepare our bases for the future...

I admit it, this video brings tears to my eyes! I taught some of the featured children long ago - the older ones are now in university and the younger ones are now in high school. The "dolphin trainer" is just won a fellowship to study abroad in the US for a semester, and the "biologist & artist" (in the greenhouse) was just accepted to a prestigious university art program! Each student brings life and creativity to the CFS & this amazing school opens the world's doors to their students too.
