I think you would be surprised to find out many Montana fans actually pull for EWU when we aren't playing them. They are one of the few teams that holds their own in the playoffs and helps the Big Sky look better.

First off, I have no issues with Oklahoma. Only throwing a little smack at avionbeatle for coming here and trying to talk trash about a team that doesn't even play OU.
As for tradition (since 1993):
2 Nat. championships that are actually decided by a playoff, not voters.
6 appearances in the championship game.
16 consecutive playoff appearances.
105 victories since 2000, (OU is #2 at 102)
Could Montana compete with OU? Hell no, we all know that. But don't come on here talking trash.
