  • Sounds like the song is Chameleon

  • The Umph song is Ringo but I don't know Cameleon so they might have teased it. The real question is how does Coffin make his sax sound like that? a mute or something?

  • @umphreak042 He has a modified wah-wah pedal to get those sounds. It's no different that doing the same effects to a guitar.

  • nasty!

  • awesome I can see myself in this one- im the kid dancing around all the way up front

  • yes that is from Cameleon. To get that sound im pretty sure he uses the same thing as a guitar player would. a pedal to bend in the sound.

  • he uses a Q Tron envelope filter

  • Actually it's an envelope filter.

  • he sends it through guitar effects... a phaser I think, but it's been so long since I played guitar through effects that I'm not too sure. Check out version of Scratch & Sniff from the Flecktones' Live At The Quick DVD. It's sick.

  • Good Ol' Chameleon...hahaha damn that brings back Memories of band in 7th grade band.
