when are the clergy going to realize, that gutted-churches are not more "spiritual" .That old AUGUSTINIAN Martin Luther would be less constipated than our typical Vatican2 "Tabula rasa"
it's actually quite a beautiful spot in the Eastern Townships - and it is the smallest municipality in Quebec (only the monks and one or two farms). It's on Lake Memphremagog, which runs from the resort town of Magog, Quebec, to Newport, in upper Vermont. A beautiful area!
Where is the Tabernacle ? This unlike a Benedictine Abbey without the Blessed Sacrament present. O my have the French Candians thrown that out as well?
The Benedictines were to remain faitful to the Latin Rite as well as the interior of
nitwit....many Benedictine churches are plain and serene. Always have been for 1400 years...

Typical Newchurch Novus Ordo altar table and BARE church. Boring! Very Protestant looking.

I visited here a couple of years ago. Very nice place. I heard recently that the Abbey will be closed. I hope not true.
