We used two looped tracks connected by switches and attempted to bypass outside train to join it with the inside one. Then just take the inside train to the outside, then to the siding where it drops off two cars. Worked pretty good for the most part.

  • I hope the last person to comment about getting the E-Z Commander to allow his switches to work got it to do just that. I've been away from YouTube for a bit, and am now just getting things back in order. My apologies for not returning his question. Most DCC E-Z Track switches come with instructions on how to operate them automatically with the controller. It's been a few months since I had the switches in use, but I believe once they are activated, that they work with Function + F9.

  • How is the bachman digital set? im prolly picking one up at the end of the year and was just curious

  • If you purchase the DCC command controller, I suggest

    stores.ebay.com/THE-FAVORITE-SPOT

I got both the original controller AND the companion for less than $90 when bidding was low.

  • how did u get ur commander to switch ur turn out like that i have been trying to find out how to do this can you help me?

  • Make a video of the UP sitting back there.

  • @05arden ok

  • lol....waaayyy over my head on this suggestion. But thank you anyways for the idea. I'll do some searching on the subject.

  • this is one beast of an engine. too many parts to get under the shell. Lubing the axles wasn't an issue, but didn't up it's speed any...I think once I got under the shell that there would be an area (like gearing) to add grease to, in order to help it along.

  • For beginners, the Bachmann Digital Controllers were great. Setting up engine consists at the front of your train was really cool. Having them back to back was even that much sweeter. Running around four or five engines separately was another perk. (even more engine if you have the 5-amp booster).

  • First off, is the engine DCC equipped? Secondly, the DCC equipped engine must have sound. Usually the price of the engine itself will dictate this. Anything less than $120 usually doesn't include a sound DCC decoder. Bachmann usually has it's sound engines come with Tsunami sound decoders. Check your engine for that. Also, most of the engines that I've seen with sound are locomotives with a tender behind it.
