The only thing I can think is that the peg on right hand is meant to sit in the E-99 for support and not peg solidly.

@chuckdawg1999 After fiddling with the figure, I realized that the peg is indeed meant to peg in tightly. Once you are able to do so, Choryujin can hold the E-99 and even the E-999 on his own without the help of the support stand. The other open right hand that comes without the peg is meant for Choryujin to support the E99/999 with the support stand.
