Minecraft Double Cart Booster

EDIT: With further testing, this boost setup appears to run indefinitely with only the initial launch if looped away from dummy cart

This video shows you how to make a double cart booster. I found this out by accident while playing around with some of the other styles of boosters. When the double cart returns to the dummy cart, it will pause for a few moments and shoot off again going back and forth forever. You can ride in the cart just like any other setup, the only caution as with all other setups is if any animals or enemies get in the way of the track it will cause problems.

To build this you will need a 2x4 area, 6 blocks, 3 carts, and 7 pieces of track.

Hopefully your runs will be more farm friendly than mine was.
