Crohns disease inflammation is linked to certain bacteria, such as E.coli. Broccoli and plantains (cooking banana) are able to significantly reduce the transmission of this bacteria across the intestinal tract. So eating these foods may potentially result in lower levels of disease processes that are a feature of crohns disease.

  • I found the video very interesting, thanks. How should I eat the brocolli, i.e boiled, steamed or raw?

  • @iffa70 I'm guessing steamed, it is half way between both. This would inactivate some of the negative compounds in broccoli that can inhibit thyroid function, but yet preserve most of the good qualities.
