Hot Like a Tea Kettle

I don't think I could live with myself if I didn't provide some sort of explanation for this nonsense. Long story short, I've grown tired of most mainstream rap these days. Frankly, it seems like the artists didn't try very hard. And the songs that really take hold and become popular are the goofiest. Now don't get me wrong. I think rap can be amazing when talented rappers pour their souls into their songs and treat it as a work of art(particularly when they have something important to say: www.reachrecords.com). Sometimes I just stare in awe at what people are able to produce in this genre.

All that being said, one day my friend Brock and I were leaving Speech class when somebody said, "Man! I am hot... like a tea kettle!" I turned to Brock and said, "Wow. That sounds like a lousy rap song." to which he replied, "I'm hot like a tea kettle!"

This stupidity is a result of that conversation.
