your bot is 15 pounds or is the egg beater 15 pounds?

The whole bot is a little bit less than 15 pounds, the eggbeater is about 3.75 pounds.

hey, i was reading the rules for the 2007 RFL event and one of them is really bugging me. The rules state that ALL robots require an active weapon (saws, hammers) and wedges are banned. wedges are a staple in the sport and not allowing simple static weapons (non-operative spikes)discourages would-be competitors. anyone have any opinions?

Don't worry, this rule is only for the 30 pound sportsman class. All other normal weight classess; 150gram all the way up to 340 pounds allow wedges and what not. The sportsman class is special, they require weapons.

Egg Beaters have almost no gyroscopic forces on them compared to actual drums. We have a 3.75" beater an can spin it up full speed and turn as fast as we want and verly lift up of the ground. I've seen really tiny drums that have tons of gyro goodness. Same with Discs on vertical spinnners compared to bar vertical spinners.
