17. Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros - Bankrobber

Live At The Bridgewater Palace Theatre, November 17th, 2002. The band would go on to play four more shows before Strummer's death a month later.

This concert is notable for the airing of several infrequently played songs: Coma Girl, Get Down Moses, 1969 (an Iggy & The Stooges cover), and a somewhat retooled Police & Thieves.

Also, there's nothing I can do about the compression problems with the video. Compression artifacts are inherent to the source, as is the mild high-end audio distortion.

Joe is simply one if the best musicians that ever lived in my opinion. not onl did he help progress the punk movement and its music but it boomeranged into evolving music of all genre. RIP joe..YOUR MUSIC WILL LIVE ON FOREVER!

Wow, had a chance to see Strummer + Mescaleros in 2001, but I couldn't make the show. Talk about regrets. I would have shat my pants if I'd heard this set list live...consider yourself lucky to have caught this performance.
