Wonderful decade! I adore the clothes, gawd! How beautiful! I love the 20's 30's and 40's. Not so much the 50's. The 60's were good and the 70's ok, fashion wise.

I'm the world's oldest 48 year old. I would estimate that I am about 110 years old based on taste. Let's face it, the 1920s were *better.* Just listen to that music. Just look at the clothes. Just look at those hairdoos. Just look at how satisfied everyone looks.

it was just like it is now. Women pushing to be more provactive, conspicuous consumption, everyone was invested in the stock market, fortunes were made and lost by taxi drivers and government was expanding it's reach into everyday life. Absolutely no difference.

Why don't you build a time machine and go back to the 1920s?

Why so rude? My brief description is a factual representation of the 1920's. You insulted me but did not refute me. If you can then, do so.

the golden era was awful as well, especially the 1920s. The fashion may be far better and indeed there were people who knew their place, and women may have been in general far more decent, and families more stable, but the seeds of degeneration were there, and jazz and other degenerate arts flourished in the 1920s. It was a gilded age in every sense of the word.

are you 110 years old or are you a person who wished you lived back then instead of these lousy days?
