@delano0011 well the R.S.O. is in charge of the Marine Security Guards or M.S.G.

DS agents are responsible for the protection of embassies, as well as diplomats. The U.S. Marines at each diplomatic facility report to the DS agents there. It's a team effort, but overall DS is responsible for the security at each post, not the USMC.

The DS agents do not protect embassies around the world, the US Marines do that. The agents protect diplomats.
