Perhaps you haven't been introduced to the Phyllopteryx taeniolatus, the weedy sea dragon. He looks mild, but there's a reason these creatures were feared for centuries by the riders of the waves. Hear world renowned marine biologist Robert Douglass describe the nature of Phyllopteryx attacks. Gabor Hojtsy, front man for Discovery's Braving the Deeps, listens on and testifies to the veracity of Douglass' description.
Partial transcript:
Robert - "You don't think much of it at first when they catch you in the wild, because they just dogpile over you. They're just really tiny little tweety little smites."
"But then they surround you. They start chanting. Then you know you're in trouble."
Ryan - "Gabor, you survived a weedy sea dragon attack, right?"
Gabor - "Ya"
Robert - "But barely, barely."

This was in the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans. I hopped in there after Do It With Drupal and ran into Robert and Gabor on the second floor. : )

Hey Ryan, where was this taken? I was actually trained as a marine scientist prior to my life as an UberCarter and lived behind the cuttlefish tank at the Waikiki Aquarium for a while. I love these guys, but the Leafy Sea Dragons are even wilder!

hah! It was something of a "prenuptial agreement". My wife promised I wouldn't have to get my hair cut for the first year of marriage... now we're at 1.5 years but she still likes it. ;)
Will see about getting a video up here on the topic...
