My cat Tabby drinks from paws & tries to make hard food SOFT

Yes, cats are "finicky," but sometimes my little (medium-size) girl Tabby takes the cake.

First, she will not drink her water by simply lapping out of a bowl, but by pooling it on her (furry) paw and licking it - this is a daily habit.

Just wish she hadn't decided to self-groom herself in the most inappropriate place at the most inappropriate time.......

Then it's on to the "make my hard food soft" game. She is treated with Fancy Feast only 2-3 times a week, so she MUST cheat!! This is accomplished by grabbing the hard piece in her teeth and trying to throw it into the bowl of water. After many unsuccessful tries (and we always eat the misses)....

SUCCESS!!! Which is then followed by the aforementioned, hated, and long process of lapping until she gets the "not soft but just slightly slippery" morsel.

Just think it's cute, and I apologize for the quality, as I was using an older phone. And yes, I have to change her water all the time because it's riddled with bits and pieces of unsuccessful retrieval attempts or "soggy morsels."
