Dont buy SLT PEO TV

Dear viewers .

This is very important to all Sri Lankans who wis to buy SLT PEO TV.

Sri Lankan Telecom (SLT) has introduced an IP TV connection to Sri Lanka.
When you purchase this connection you will get a modem (UT STARCOM UT-304R2) UT STARCOM MEDIA CONSOLE 1088L media Decoder + remote controller and a Splitter

All these things seems cool..
But the quality of the video stream they host from there base is very bad They say that the all the channels are in HD(High Definetion) quality I think that these people havent even seen a HD film. video becomes scatter and unclear at so many times. If you complained this about to the SLT through the customer care they will transfer your phone call to different sections and rome you through the phone but nothing happens.Sometimes they will end the phone call . The Remote Controller they give you also doesnt work properly. My advise is don,t buy this rubbish and wate your valuable money and time.

Now Peo TV is all right.there is no problem in the connection.U can enjoy it.

but there is still traffic in there lines, becaus they have exceeded there limit of connection that the server can bare up.

This is the situation.

Most of da time you get no connection.& ..many more trobule..with the chinese router & decorder they provide.

This technology is good but the persons who provide this service is worse.

Hello,,, PEO TV is a cable TV connection & these terms are occurring due to line conditions and long distance from the exchange. Far-est people cannot access like DVD quality ,,so and so

These guys can give promotions twice a year but they don't have the brains to improve!!...For me, connection is good but the content sucks like the fact i hate is they have many cheap Indian feeds like for Star world,Disney,Vh1 and MTV(which suppose to be the best American music tv channel but some Hindi crap overtaken. As a summary these has 80% old crap, long advertisements and Hindi crap.Just compare Star Movies and see the difference which that is an Asian feed.

Guys now its 2011 there pic quality is good but still there channels sucks I recommend u never buy that shit even they tells they have more features than dialog.

TSTV is their trick to get customer attraction.

If you subscribed to PEO shit you must have to use that 1 year.

Channels are no match to dialog only channel worth is Discovery and even for NGC you have to pay 50 bucks which dialog provide free of charge.

heh u just record by using a digital camera and you going to show the quality of a video ? dont be stupid man how can u tell video quality is low as you show ? your camera also a cheap bad quality one first of all.

@imdonzrox But do you live near the SLT exchange. ( you dont have to live in colombo to get PEO TV, live near the slt exchange is enough. i live in Embilipitiya and there is only 1Km to slt from my house.

i know whats wrong here. you are too far from the server. thats why the pics get stucked. i use PEO TV and only Rs 550? i get 30 chanells free. with HBO chanels free for one month. pictures are great and theres nothing wrong with connection. TSTV ( time shift tv) works very well. my wife watch yesterdays dramas today. PEO TV Is GREAT just like their ADSL it works perfect. you are just too far from the exchange thats all.

@imdonzrox The quality problem comes with the distance to the service station..anyway, if you torrents using up bandwidth, it can happen sometime..However the quality has become better compared with past..However the Peo TV channels are crappy except for HBO..They haven't added any new channel...I would recommend dialog tv..
