Hi, everyone! I have a tutorial by request from the "Sisters" gate fold album. This tutorial is for the scalloped opening pocket. You can see the original in the following video, starting at 2:30: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ax8Ai3eQAMA.

This demo pocket has been made with the Graphic 45 "Le Cirque" papers.

  • Really nice pocket! Question where do you buy your sticky tape? My craft stores only have really small ones and I saw yours was large.

  • @dsilva924 I get large rolls of a bulk German brand red tape from articusstudiodesign . com.

  • So tell me is your pocket paper 6 and one half by 9 and one half for the pocket if you are using the 4 x 6 square? Just checking.

  • @nickki64053 It depends on if you want your tag to stick out a little at the top or not. Assuming your tag is 4"x6" and you don't want the tag to stick out, then you would cut 6.5"x9" to get a pocket with the finished dimensions of 4.25"x6" and then adjust from there if you want it to stick out a little of not. Hope that helps!

  • Great technique. I always love how you use pockets in your mini's. This is another fun one to try. JIL

  • @stampyra Thank you! I love pockets, what can I say!? The books that are interactive are my favorite ~ being able to play with it is what makes it so fun for me. :D

  • @RedBarnStudios5 I think that's a fantastic idea! :D A photo would look really lovely framed in the scalloped circle ~ very cool!
