  • Spraying a bit water on it will get the foam to expand a lot more

  • @fkou0987654321 Oh cool thanks for the tip! ^_^

  • im making chest armour for a space marine costume atm,ive used a giant can of it and have to say it seems to be working really well!saying that my armour is ALOT smaller than yours height wise so i dont have to cover as much space, hows yours coming along?

  • @SoloWingpixy91 lol mine is done, hence the pictures at the end. It rocks, but the tape wants to come up a little. Thats really the only problem. It's survived two anime cons so far :D good luck! Ask me if you need help :)

  • @SoloWingpixy91 Camping mats? How are you using those? Maybe try finding some cheap yoga mats?

  • @SoloWingpixy91 HMMM well im just used to making everything out of cardboard. :D

  • I don't know what you bought specifically but if you got the foam that says it's for windows and doors that kind is actually designed to expand far less so that it doesn't bow out the door frames, Also you might consider a woodworking plane to do the shaping. It's definitely easier than a knife.

    Great work though. Good stuff.

  • Lolz you're supposed to use the foam matts from those floor Matt puzzles to make this, oh well, too late now.

  • I saw the tutorial on your blog about how to make the tunic. However, it doesn't show how to make Link's hat. Have you made a tutorial on the hat, or is it pretty much self-explanatory. (I'm not that good at sewing, but I will probably show my grandma the tutorial on the tunic.)

  • @KafaeLatte yeah they are just like cheap yoga mats anyway, insulation or something i dunno, was just gnna cut them out the rigth size to fit around me arms and legs and then fix em with some glue!

  • @KafaeLatte mine is almost finished, ive added a few layers of modroc, its made it heavier but its now solid,my only problem is finding those roll out camping mattsfor cheap so i can make the shoulders and arm/leg armour! im weighing up both the cost, and how much itll be worth it
