Beautiful song, beautiful video. Makes me wanna go back to the 30s to see what was like -so difficult times, but also so smart, so...something! But who was Egon Schiele? :)

Egon was something of an expressionist painter from Austria. Beautifully unpleasant portraits. This is one the Rachel's best albums, even if it only has three of the members. I could listen to this, and have listened to it throughout an entire day, over and over. It's very powerful. It's no wonder they commissioned stuff for ballet's- it has such elegance. so much languid grace, such expressive movement. my mind wanders...

You put two of my favorite Rachel's songs to video. I love it. The archival footage paired with it is great, since their songs are so very romantic--they really do harken back to a different age.

to the world,, those harpischord songs on selenography are really good, and the sea and the bells are some of my favorites...
