@Bandwagon, i see nobody responded after the saints game.... If yall are true faithfull niners u will do best trusting the coaches choice. Harbaugh believed in smith, and now half the nation does too....including me. Everybody has their glory days...some peak earlier or later than others

@FuNkYNiTrO once again your argument is flawed. Smith played in 3 1/2 of the 6 yrs cuz his garbage line got him injured 3x. And how can he do it like montana or young wen this is just the start? Young rode the bench and didnt win a super bowl til 94. Montana had a great coach, Walsh, to guide the way. Give Smith time under Harbaugh. 1st year w/ a legit coach, he's got us 2 games away from the SB. It's just the beginning. Harbaugh said last week he wants Smith back. So get used to it.

Alex Smith is not at all a bad qb he needs to work on a better arm yes but so far the way he has been playing we are first place in nfc west ahead by 5 FIVE GAMES and if it weren't for Tony romo playing in cowboys when we came up on them we would be undefeated 8-0 like packers respect the team and all the players the coach knows what he's doing NINERS NATION COME GET IT

FYI, there were Arizona Cardinal fans so disappointed in Kevin Kolb that they wanted to trade him for Alex Smith. Its a miraculous turnaround from the previous years. You see other QBs that have failed and they had terrible situations. David Carr is a great example.
If you look at Montana (not saying Alex is Joe at all), he wasn't looked as a great QB coming out of college. He was rated midpack in arm strength and was deemed a risktaker. Almost reckless. Walsh turned him into a HOFer.
