Far Cry 2 Ending

The endings of Far Cry 2, if it really is more than one ending? One is blow up the pass the other is give the diamonds to the guards. Both appear to result in the same ending.

I don't understand one thing. Why, in the blue hell, does the guy, who bribes the guards, have to shoot himself? WHY?

Far Cry 2 only has two endings, they are both identical, just two different ways to commit suicide. Not a very good game I am afraid. :(

THIS GAME SUX you do the same mission with like two tweaks for hours on end due to the ridiculous amount of driving and the constant enemies just to end up getting fuckin allied to the guy YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO KILL then it gives u the choice of two endings as some pathetic way of tricking u into thinking there is some sort of variety but it doesnt even give u a change in cinematic. It cant even give u the choice of killing urself or not so ur left wondering on a question youll never get answered

well I hope FarCry 3 would go back to Jack Carver's Story, at least that one is satisfying than a "blood diamond" kinda thing in Far Cry 2, do we deserve a happy ending after a gruelsome DRIVING experience.. and it's AFRICA without elephants, lions and snakes! darn it!

@Darkness62Because they were all responsible for turning the country into a shit hole. They did it as kind of an act of personal redemption, but also because people like them were the very problem. As each mission progressed they fuck up more and more of the country under the guise fo taking diamonds and/or stopping the jackal.

Why the hell does tje Jackal go soft on the world all the sudden.. And why does the player have to 'obey' the Jackal's orders? The game's concept was cool but the ending sucks.

I loved the original Far Cry, the engine was the best out there, but the game was never very popular, which is why they keep changing up the gameplay. I was disappointed in Crysis, didn't like the gameplay at all, so I was excited when they announced Far Cry 2, figured they would get back to the gameplay I enjoyed...wrong... I got really, really sick of driving all over the place, nothing new to see...

If they made a Far Cry 3 they should have it where you could actually go free roam after you beat the game.. I hate the ending to this.. The game is great though

I have to say I kind of agree. I liked the game but the difficult map and too much driving spoiled it a bit. Wonderful graphics and some brilliant missions (though all the enemies were the same) made it a very good but not truly great game. Amazing music, weirdly hurried dialogue though. It's like GTA: Africa would be in some ways. I enjoyed it but found the constant driving tedious.
