  • Que grande David Gates...

  • the finest years i ever knew was being a teenager and listening to your music.

  • @bobby7771117 And he's handsome too!

  • Here's the man with that one in a million voice! David Gates wrote some great songs, as did James Griffin--who also had a wonderful voice! It is really shame that this group couldn't keep it together and continue to make great music! Oh Well! Sincerely, BobbyK

  • @bobkatfilbin thank you so much for your kind words. my eyes are misting as i write. you have given me much comfort and relief from my pain. i will sleep soundly tonight.

  • Isn't David Gates the most gentle singer? I turn to him, Cat Stevens, James Taylor in times of pain and in need of just a feel good tune. Bread was a really great band.

  • @wilhelMinya Sorry for your loss. I know how it feels and this song brings me to tears everytime I hear it even years and years after. God Bless you and those we love who have gone before.
