My cover of the Bob Dylan song about the injustice of Ruben "The Hurricane" Carter's conviction for a murder he didn't commit.I previously uploaded this song but wasn't happy with it so hopefully this one's up to scratch.Peace

  • I wish I knew how to play the violin and lived next door to you.....we could jam the shit out of this song..

  • @PHMI16 That'd be cool man :)

    Peace

  • Why didn't you do the entire song?

  • @Usurpationblitz Soz dude,when ur doin a song this long from memory it's hard to remember it all.LOL

    Peace

  • @Gaviathan

    That's okay, I understand. I listened to three covers yesterday (whenever I watched yours) and all of them didn't do the entire song. I just thought it was because of the line, "and to the black folks he was just a crazy nigger," and you and them didn't want a bunch of backlash because of it.

  • @Usurpationblitz No,it was just bad memory,that line isn't being racist anyway,it's exposing racism,at least that's how I see it.Mind you people can get offended by all kinds of stuff,I removed my Brown Sugar vid coz someone said I was disgusting for singing a song about raping black slaves,once she mentioned it I suppose it was obvious but until then it had never crossed my mind.

    Peace

  • WOW MATE THAT WAS ABSOLUTLEY FANTASTIC A+++++++++++++

  • @Gaviathan

    I understand 100% that that lyric isn't racist in the least bit, well from Dylan's/The singer's POV it isn't. But like I said, a lot of people who have covered this song tend not to sing that lyric, and was just wondering if you did that. Thank you for clearing it up, and if I didn't say this before, you did a real good job with the song, even if it's not the entire thing. =D

  • @LeezeArray Thanks for that,glad you liked it.

    Peace

  • You are AMAZING. This is... beyond anything else! I am really glad I came across this cover. It is more than "up to scratch", let me tell you that, Mister! (;
