@mikeysquare square is right you fuckin idiot.

I would like to post a response to those saying it is stupid or irresponsible to hunt sandhill crane. you really need to do more research before saying ignorant things like that. the sandhill population in america is VERY healthy. These men went on a guided and responsible hunt. there is no difference between hunting sandhill and hunting something like turkey. sandhill are often called "the ribeye in the sky" as they are VERY good to eat. these hunters undoubtedly used the bird wisely. good job

WEAK
-
@mikeysquare I don't think a 2 bird bag limit is going to hurt the population one bit.
-
As someone who supports the hunting of traditional game birds, I have to say that this is asinine. The Sandhill population is fairly healthy, but jackasses hunting
Sandhills WILL bring down Whooping Cranes too. Remove your head from between your legs and go hunt a Wild Turkey, you effing children.

This kind of makes me sick.... :-(

what shots are guys using?
-
you guys are lucky that you can legally hunt where you are, we have these birds flying right over us every year, and for some reason the hunting of them isn't legalized here yet
-
is their a limit on those things??? this is badass.. we only see about 40 sandhills a year in florida, but were starting to see a bunch more. this is sweet. they look so goofy when they get shot

Hey i got a place that about 3 miles away from a roost of about 20,000 sand hills and was wondering what decoys you used because the only ones i find are carelites but the 55 plus for one..
texan4liferam 4 years ago
they are taxidermy decoys made by the guide
LuckyPirate 3 years ago
i got a question where do yall find decoys...and i didnt even kno they made calls so we learned how to call by mouth...it sounds retarded but its really pretty fun

well it was a guided trip, and the guide makes his own taxidermy decoys, and hand carves his own calls. It was all pretty impressive.
